Materiality studies embroidery
An ongoing exploration of hybrid embroidery methods, combining machine embroidery, hand embroidery, quilt, digital print, silk paint and dye. Studies play with folded embroidery and translation of hand drawing/painting, vector design, and embroidery software digitizing tools.
